I searched long to find a screen mirror application and I thought I had found it in Screen Server. Unfortunately when I run it the video on my settop box freezes and then jumps. If I look at the PC then its running CPU at 100% of a single core. The PC is a win7 x64 machine with 8G Ram and only a dual core cpu. Its also my normal media server and streams to the settop box without any issues. Given the latter point I doubt the issues is bandwidth related. I've disabled the trancoding thinking maybe that was the cause however the CPU use is still 100% for a single core.
Task manager shows that the process is only 32 bit and it seems to only utilise a single core. I have also turned down the resolution to 640x480 and it still has issues communicating with the set top box and still consumes 100% of a single CPU...the dwm and the actual player then consume the other core.
Is this normal for screen for screen server? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and its had no effect at all on the ability to play back anything.
Anyone have any suggestions?
