TVersity 1.9.2 and YouTube still not working

Hi,

My 4 Library Setting of Youtube are: User Favorites, User Subscriptions, User Uploads and User Playlists. With 1.9.2 and the "changed" getdata process 2 of the 4 work, the other not.

Working are: User Playlists and User Videos
NOT working are: User Favorites and User Subscriptions

The 2 "not working" give both the error (in TVersity Media Server Status):
- Error - Could not get url http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/user ... t=tversity
- Error - Error - Could not get url http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/user ... t=tversity

When pressing the "preview button" a InternetBrowser is opening and displaying:
- "HTTP ERROR 403 - forbidden" (the website needs a login)
- the URL is (for favorites): http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/user ... t=tversity

Please give us an additional UpdateVersion which will solve this problem.

I get all my 4 to show. However, I've run into some subscriptions and selecvted videos that don't.
I think its how the page is. If i can't get the subscription, I can't get an individual video from the person either.

Its as if youtube hasnt converted everything yet, OR the video is being blocked from d/ling.

Hi,

I found the reason: the things work now after setting the YouTube "Activity Sharing" on Favorites and Subcriptions to "On". Now the RSS-Feed works: nothing to do with User/Password but with private settings...

Where is this activity setting? In YouTube or TVersity?

You will have to do this within YouTube / My Account / Activity Sharing / "What activities do I share?".

Same problem here. TVersity shows the thumbnail of the YouTube video but when I press WATCH it just
hangs and then comes back with 'data corrupted'. I'm using a PS3.

I've been messing around with TVersity and YouTube for months now, since 1.9.2 was released and
still cannot get YouTube to show. I get 'content corrupted' or the usual error for a file that cannot be
transcoded/handled.

I've done so many changes I can't even beging to remember all of them. I've tried and tried with YouTube
account settings also without any luck. My settings on YouTube are Share. I merely want to view my
YouTube Favorites. I have them selected in TVersity for Favorites.

The thing that really bothers me is that I can see the thumbnail of all my Favorites in YouTube but cannot stream them. When I select a YouTube Favorite thumbnail it just waits and waits and waits and then finally gives me that 'corrupt file' error. I'm using a PS3 by the way.

If I go to the TVersity computer, the host that runs TVersity, I can see the files in the Library, I can go to
my account through TVersity, and the file/movie from YouTube will play on the same machine as youTube.


If anyone as any hints, suggestions, PLEASE share them.

Since upgraded to 1.9.2 nothing works. My Wii used to work with Tversity but now, Mediaserver consumes ~50% CPU always tries to refresh folders and Wii does no show a single media. Installed 1.8 Beta the same thing. Could it be one of the codecs 1.9.2 installed? Anyone has version 1.9.0?

youtube doesn't seem to be youtube ?!

Since I changed the settings in my youtube account, I can find the things in my library (before there were the url-errors when refreshing the library).

Some of the RSS-Feeds show me directly the videos, others show me a "watch" and a folder with the name of the video including some 2 or 3 more video-urls and most of them are named "watch". I think, this could be because of the "fallback in picture resultion".

Some youtube films work streaming onto my samsung TV, but most of them not. Using the URL-links from the library on my PC, they work all...

Till today I thought, this is because of some unsupport fileformats by my television (which is the error on the TV), but on the media server I also saw errors like the one's NeuroPsyche is talking about.
