Nokia 5800 and/or N97

Postby djvpuls on Tue Jan 12, 2010 10:06 pm

So I have a Nokia 5800 and I've been able to navigate to the flashlib of my tversity server on the default Nokia web browser, but it has problems.
It is hit or miss if it works. On my touchscreen, no matter where I click on flashlib, it always chooses audio (the audio works no problems by the way)first...then I have to go back, and 90% of the time when I click on Folders, or Internet, or RSS the browser on my phone closes(some type of error). Is the flashlib version compatible with flash-lite 3.0 or flash-lite 3.1. Is there away to make it compatible, compile it as a flash-lite version? If I try enough times, it works. Then it stops working again. It is just frustrating to use.
Is anyone else having a similar problem?

On a side note, hulu.com only works about 5% of the time. Between the two problems, I have no yet been able to view a hulu video on my phone, but I believe it would work, or I would figure it out if the flashlib won't keep causing the nokia 5800 browser to close. I would try another browser, but opera 1o beta 2 doesn't support flash, and skyfire has not yet been released for the s60v5 (it'll be released sometime this month).

Nokia 5800 gives you all the features of Nokia N97 not just lots of memory and that home screen function. Nokia N97 is superb phone. I think its a waste of money compare to tube 5800. Its very effective and camera is 5 MP in N97 while in Nokia 5800 has a 3.2 MP.
